As hot as Miranda is, the emotional connection was rather flat between the other two.  Jack gets interesting once you get to know her.

All of the female crew members have very interesting story lines.

Guys not so much. Garrus and Mordin are the best ones IMO. Grunt and Zaeed are ok. Jacob is bland.

I like Jacob's story. Sure, it's not full of blood and thunder, but I think a significant part of it is on an iPhone app...

I find that most of the characters have a pretty decent story. I think Thane's philosophy about others using his body is kinda BS, but it's part of his culture, I guess.

I can't say I hate any of the squad members, really.
