Once the boosters released, I'm gonna try to get singles of those on eBay as usual.  Even with some figs going for $4-5 (or even more), it's better than getting a bunch of dupes or ones you don't want from a booster pack.

This is the first starter set put out since NECA bought Wizkids and I understand there will be some rule changes (I think that they will simplify the rules a bit).  That said, the normal design for starter sets is that the pieces are conceived so that all pieces in the set can be divided into two teams of equal point values.  IIRC, the last starter set -- the Fantastic Four -- did not follow this exactly because it included two different Doombots so that it didn't quite work out.  Even so, most of the pieces were given point values that made the teams somewhat interchangeable (each of the members of the FF were 100 points, while Doom was 200 points).

I'm hoping they include a Black Lantern feat card that allows a character to regenerate at the end of every turn.
